Most of our Control4 work goes into existing homes around the Valley and greater LA, some of them decades old. We retrofit the wiring and equipment into what is already there. Size does not matter either: the same platform runs a condo and a hillside estate. Start with one room or one problem and add more when you are ready.

ONE BRAIN, EVERY DEVICE

At the center of a Control4 home is a system controller that ties everything together. Your control points are wherever you want them: the app on your phone, a Halo remote by the couch, a keypad at the front door, a touchscreen on the kitchen wall. Adjust the thermostat, start music, close the shades, lock up for the night, or do all four at once as a single scene.

WORKS WITH WHAT YOU OWN

Control4 is an open platform, so it talks to thousands of products from other manufacturers, not just its own gear. The TV you already have, the speakers, the streaming boxes, popular thermostats and doorbell cameras: in most cases we can fold them into one system instead of replacing them. That keeps the budget honest.

DEVICES THAT TALK TO EACH OTHER

A smart thermostat has an app. A video doorbell has an app. None of them know the others exist. In a Control4 home they do: the porch light comes on when the doorbell rings at night, the thermostat sets itself to away when the alarm arms, and everything shuts down when the last person leaves.
